Co-Founder Anna Eriksson was appointed Spark Sustainability’s new CEO, starting June 13th 2022. Eriksson has previously had the role of Product Owner for Spark Sustainability’s carbon tracking app Carbon Donut.
Spark Sustainability has a new CEO to guide the company through the development of its new B2B offering. Anna Eriksson takes over the reins as her predecessor Amanda Rejström goes on maternity leave.
“This is an exciting opportunity to develop Spark Sustainability further. I am eager to see the impact we can accomplish by bringing our tools and expertise to companies ”, says Eriksson.
Eriksson has been with the company since the very start, previously holding the position of Product owner for Carbon Donut. Her background is in energy consultancy and energy engineering. Eriksson’s extensive knowledge in carbon emission calculations as well as product development are expected to be of great value to Spark Sustainability in this new role.
Chairperson of the board Tiina Zilliacus commented on the new appointment: “I believe that Anna can really take things to the next level at Spark Sustainability right now. It’s a good time for a change of perspective, and Anna’s deep knowledge of the firm will ensure that new opportunities are explored with a good understanding of what’s been done before.”
